Low-Cost Therapy for Life Transitions, Identity & Parenthood
Life doesn't always change gradually.
Sometimes it shifts all at once through graduation, leaving home, becoming a parent, changing careers, navigating relationships, or simply realizing that the way you've always lived no longer feels like it fits.
Aislynn offers a warm, thoughtful space where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself as you move through life's changing seasons.
As a Niilo Student Therapist, Aislynn provides therapy under the supervision of experienced Registered Psychotherapist Clinical Supervisor, offering affordable, reduced-cost and free therapy options while receiving ongoing clinical guidance to support safe, ethical, and thoughtful care for sessions in-person in Guelph and online across Ontario while completing her clinical internship.
Who Aislynn Helps...
Aislynn works with people who are navigating the discomfort and uncertainty that come with major life transitions, so they can gain a deeper, more compassionate understanding of themselves and build the confidence that will help them thrive.
Whether you're leaving home, becoming a parent, questioning your direction, or adjusting to an unexpected season of life, Aislynn offers a compassionate space to explore your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater confidence and intention.
Students, Teens & Young Adults (16+)
Major life transitions can feel exciting and overwhelming at the same time.
Whether you're graduating, beginning university, choosing a career, leaving home, navigating changing friendships, or building new relationships, these experiences often bring anxiety, uncertainty, and questions about identity.
Therapy offers a place to explore who you are beyond expectations, develop confidence in yourself, and build a stronger foundation for the future you want to create.
Individual Adults (18+)
Every stage of adulthood brings its own challenges.
Sometimes you're carrying stress that has accumulated over years. Other times, life changes unexpectedly through relationships, work, family responsibilities, grief, or personal transitions.
Aislynn believes there is healing in feeling genuinely heard. Together, you'll take time to understand what you're carrying, explore how your past continues to influence the present when helpful, and create space for greater clarity, meaning, and self-understanding.
Pregnancy, Postpartum & Parenthood
The transition into parenthood can bring incredible joy alongside unexpected fear, grief, anxiety, exhaustion, and self-doubt.
Aislynn understands firsthand that postpartum experiences are rarely as simple as people expect. She offers compassionate support for individuals navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the emotional changes that often accompany becoming a parent.
Whether you're trying to conceive, adjusting to pregnancy, navigating postpartum emotions, or balancing the ongoing demands of parenting, Aislynn provides support for parents seeking a place where they don't need to minimize what they're experiencing and can begin making sense of this important season of life.
Anxiety, Self-Esteem & Emotional Growth
Many people begin therapy because they feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves.
Together, therapy becomes an opportunity to explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that have shaped your story, allowing greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and confidence moving forward.

What Therapy is like with Aislynn...
A wise person once said, “if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry.”
In therapy with me, there’s room for both.
Life can be beautiful, messy, overwhelming, transformative and sometimes everything all at once.
Whether you’re navigating the chaos of parenthood, a breakup, leaving home, adjusting to a major life transition, feeling stuck in patterns that no longer fit, or simply trying to make sense of a season that feels heavier than usual, therapy can offer a place to breathe.
I believe therapy should feel healing. Not clinical or performative, and certainly not like you must have all the right words or answers. My role is to offer you space to tell your story, explore the parts of yourself that may have been overlooked, and begin to rewrite the narratives that no longer reflect who you are or where you want to go.
My approach is shaped not only by lived experience, but by my education. I hold a Masters in Peace and Conflict and am completing a Masters in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy, both of which continue to inform the way I support clients empathetically and with curiosity.
With experience in transformative mediation, I have been told that I am gentle and honest in my communication, and that my energy puts people at ease.
The connection we build in therapy matters deeply to me.
I honour the trust it takes to share your inner world, and I aim to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and empowered enough to move forward.
Healing doesn’t always happen in big breakthrough moments. Sometimes, it begins simply by telling your story and realizing you don’t have to carry it alone.
Why Choose a Niilo Student Therapist?
Choosing a Student Therapist can be an excellent option for individuals seeking thoughtful, evidence-informed care at a more affordable rate.
At Niilo Wellness, a Student Therapist is completing Master's level psychotherapy training while providing counselling direct to clients and supervised by our Clinical Supervisor to fulfill the ethical and professional standards of our regulatory body, the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) .
Reduced-rate therapy is available through the Niilo Wellness Student Therapist Program, making counselling more accessible while maintaining high standards of care.
Niilo Student Therapists offer sliding scale, even free therapy options to those local to Guelph or all across Ontario through virtual online sessions.
Aislynn's Internship placement period is Sep 1, 2026 - May 31, 2027.
It is possible to work with Aislynn throughout this time as she earns clinical hours, receives ongoing supervision, and peer support from the experienced Niilo Registered Psychotherapists. This allows clients to benefit from both her dedicated care and the guidance of seasoned clinicians throughout the therapeutic process.
Most extended health benefit plans include coverage for psychotherapy with a Registered Psychotherapist (RP or RP-Qualifying). Since Student Therapists are directly supervised by RP Clinical Supervisors, it is the RP that is clinically responsible for the client and therefore services provided by a Student Therapist may also be reimbursable by your health benefit plan.
If your plan includes coverage for Registered Psychotherapist (RP or RP-Qualifying), sessions with Student Therapists may be partially or fully covered. Be sure to check into your specific plan as coverage limits, eligible designations, and reimbursement processes vary by provider.
Choosing to work with Nillo Student Therapist Aislynn is a great option for those seeking support for anxiety, life transitions, identity, postpartum, parenting, self-esteem, and personal growth.
