Learn about Family Mediation

What is Family Mediation?

Family Mediation is a beneficial process which provides solutions for families in conflict. Mediation can help people resolve issues arising from  separation, divorce or family dispute and arrive at lasting agreement.

Why work with Rob as a Family Mediator?

The benefits of Family Mediation make it an attractive alternative to arbitration or litigation. Mediation is confidential, much less expensive, allows for creative agreement, and gives more control over the outcome of dispute.

How does Family Mediation work?

An OAFM certified mediator is an impartial communications expert with training in Family Law. From interviews to gain an understanding of the issues, your mediator will plan the process that leads to agreement during joint sessions, which can be held in real or virtual space. Your mediator can also help to improve long term communication by coaching people through difficult transitions such as parents learning to be co-parents.
