Q:  What are the qualifications of your therapists?

Our therapists are highly qualified professionals registered with their respective professional organizations, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for education, training, and ethical practice. It is also important to mention that a foundational principle of Niilo Wellness is that a Practitioner who is highly supported, is one who can provide the highest quality care. Practically speaking this means, compared to the industry standard, Niilo Affiliates receive an abnormally high percentage of the session fee as compensation and are encouraged to continually further their skills and education. This allows for Niilo Affiliates to avoid burnout, feel fulfilled in their career, and to thrive in their personal lives, which means they have the capacity to ensure you receive competent and compassionate care.

How to Book & Session Fees

Q:  How do I book a Counselling appointment?

The easiest way is to click on any button here on the Niilo site that says “book here” OR contact the Niilo Affiliate you would like to work with directly via their email address found on their bio page.

A Schedule Tip: Practitioners may have different shifts for Online or In-Person Appointments; if In-Person Sessions are fully booked there may be more availability Online, or vice versa! Q:  What are the fees for Therapy Sessions?

Q:  Do you offer reduced rate or sliding scale payment options?

We offer reduced rate services for counselling sessions provided by our Psychotherapy Student Interns. As a Student, the Intern has met the regulatory educational requirements to offer therapy services and is working towards providing enough client hours in order to complete their internship stage. It is important to know that when working with a Student Intern you are being supported directly by the Intern, as well as indirectly supported by the highly competent Supervisor who is mentoring & guiding the Intern.

Some Niilo Affiliates offer session times in their schedule at a reduced rate to accommodate clients experiencing difficult financial situations. As these spots are limited in availability, they are not bookable online. Please reach out to your Niilo Affiliate or the Niilo Admin Team to inquire if reduced rate sessions are available. Know that we will never ask you to prove or demonstrate that you are in financial need if you ask if reduced rates are available. We trust that if a reduced rate is the only way you can currently receive care, you will switch to a regular priced session once you are able to, in order for others to then have that spot & the opportunity to receive the support they need.
