Payment, Insurance, Sliding-Scale, and Free Counselling and Therapy Options at Niilo in Guelph and Online
At Niilo, we want to make counselling services as accessible as we can, to anyone who would benefit from it! We accept several methods of payment whether in person or online, our services are covered by most health benefit plans. Many of our therapists offer limited parts of their schedules for sliding scale pricing, and our interns offer reduced rate therapy with some availability for very low cost therapy and even free therapy, in person or online.
Payment Options for Therapy Services
We try to make the payment process as convenient and simple as possible for clients. We can accept credit card payments and many visa-debit cards for online services as well as e-transfer if other options are not available. For in-person sessions we can also accept cash (exact payment, no change available) and card payments by use of the point-of-sale machine.
Insurance Coverage for Therapy
Insurance coverage can vary significantly from one company to the next. Many health insurance plans have coverage for psychotherapists and/or social workers. If you know what coverage you have and would like help choosing a therapist that is covered, or if you would like help understanding your coverage as it relates to Niilo services, please reach out and we will do out best to help in any way we can.
Sliding Scale Therapy Fees
Many Niilo therapists reserve a limited number of slots in their schedule in which they will offer their services at a reduced rate depending on the needs of the client. These rates are offered on a case-by-case basis, please reach out to Niilo Admin to discuss your needs and Therapist availability.
Free Therapy
Niilo currently has two intern therapists that offer very low cost therapy and can even offer some of their time for free therapy sessions. Working with an intern has a great deal of benefits, and interns are closely supervised to ensure the best quality of care for their clients while allowing them to offer less expensive services.
